Temporary Onsite Recruiter

About the Role

Thrive Market is looking for an onsite recruiter to support hourly hiring at our Batesville fulfillment center. This person will welcome candidates, guide them through the hiring process, and take the time to understand our operation so we can hire people who are a good fit for the work and the team.

We are looking for someone approachable, dependable, and comfortable connecting with people over the phone, onsite, and throughout the local community. Every candidate should be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of whether we ultimately hire them.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome candidates and create a positive, hospitality-first experience.
• Learn how the fulfillment center operates and what site leaders need from new hires.
• Manage the hourly recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, candidate communication, and follow-up.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates from Batesville and the surrounding communities.
• Clearly explain the job, schedule, work environment, and expectations to candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate information in our recruiting system.
• Develop a localized hiring approach based on the Batesville market and surrounding communities.
• Represent Thrive Market at job fairs, community events, local organizations, and other in-field recruiting opportunities.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and site leadership to identify hiring challenges and improve the process.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, sales, or hospitality
• Strong people skills and a genuine interest in helping others.
• Sound judgment, common sense, and the ability to handle situations professionally.
• Comfortable spending a significant amount of time speaking with candidates by phone.
• Willing to work in the field and represent Thrive Market throughout the local community.
• Reliable follow-through and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning and using basic recruiting systems and Google Workspace.
• Able to communicate clearly with candidates, employees, and leaders.
• Comfortable working onsite in an active fulfillment center environment.
• Reliable transportation for local recruiting events and outreach.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
