Temporary HRIS Data Validation Analyst

Position Overview

The HRIS Data Validation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of employee data across multiple systems. This role performs data validation activities, identifies discrepancies, and partners with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity throughout the systems.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, and a keen attention to detail. This role is critical to ensuring reliable employee records and compliance reporting.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Validate employee demographic, employment, organizational, payroll, compensation, and benefits data between systems.
• Perform record-level and aggregate-level comparisons to identify discrepancies.
• Develop and execute reconciliation processes for employee master data.
• Research and resolve data mismatches, missing records, and data quality issues.
• Document validation findings and maintain audit trails of discrepancies and resolutions.
• Monitor ongoing data quality metrics and reporting.
• Design and maintain validation reports and dashboards.
• Create exception reports highlighting data inconsistencies.
• Provide regular status reporting on validation progress, data quality metrics, and remediation efforts.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or two (2) years of experience in HR technology systems
• 2+ years of experience in HRIS or Data Analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including Pivot Tables, Xlookup, Power Query, Data analysis and reconciliation techniques
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

Additional Optional Qualifications

Experience with Dayforce, Spectrum, or Sage is a plus
