Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for refilling prescriptions, answering patient questions, and the communicate effectively with the providers to ensure timely communication to patients.

Main Responsibilities

• Uses internal processes to assess, provide, and follow-up with all patients needs, always practicing HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• This position will work in conjunction with Medical Providers to triage in person and telephone patients for the clinical site.
• Follow care plan of the cardiology patients inclusive of assessment, treatment, and education within respect of cardiac care only
• Manages incoming phone calls, patient messages, and emails to ensure patients inquires are handled and directed appropriately
• Performs services requiring critical thinking as well as technical and manual skill
• Performs basic nursing services
• Handles prescription refills within guidelines of the practices
• Other duties as deemed necessary.
