About Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA)

Boys & Girls Clubs of America is the nation’s premier youth development organization, serving nearly 4 million young people each year. We are committed to creating environments where all young people can reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.Through partnerships, programs, and people-first leadership, we support Clubs across the country to deliver safe, impactful, and high-quality experiences for youth and families.

About the Role

The Digital Project Manager will manage and execute key projects across BGCA’s growing military marketing portfolio. Working closely with the Director, Military Marketing, this role will take assigned projects from planning through execution — coordinating stakeholders, timelines, creative development, content production, approvals and final delivery.

This is a hands-on role that combines project management, marketing execution and creative production. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing a multi-stakeholder project, developing marketing resources, capturing and editing content, and keeping complex deliverables moving. The role will support work across military Services, installations, Youth Centers, BGCA teams and external partners. Military experience is preferred but not required. We’re looking for a strong marketer and project manager who can operate independently, build trusted relationships and quickly learn the nuances of BGCA’s military partnerships.

Why This Role Matters

Military-connected young people grow up navigating experiences that can include frequent moves, deployments, new schools and life in communities around the world.

BGCA has an opportunity to tell those stories more consistently and authentically while giving military partners and local programs stronger marketing resources to reach youth and families.

As BGCA’s military marketing portfolio and partner deliverables continue to expand, this role will provide dedicated project ownership and execution capacity — helping ensure commitments are delivered on time while allowing the Director, Military Marketing to focus on strategy, partner relationships and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Manage Military Marketing Projects

  • Independently manage assigned military marketing projects from kickoff through delivery, including scope, timelines, stakeholders, approvals and final assets.
  • Serve as a day-to-day project contact for military marketing initiatives and partner deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, creative briefs, timelines, status updates and other tools needed to keep work organized and moving.
  • Coordinate across BGCA teams, military partners, Youth Centers, agencies and creative vendors.
  • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies and decisions needed to meet deadlines.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and shift priorities with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Support implementation and tracking of marketing deliverables associated with BGCA’s military partnerships.
  • Capture project learnings and recommend opportunities to improve future execution.

Develop Military Marketing & Content

  • Execute military marketing projects and campaigns across digital, social, web, print and partner channels.
  • Develop and adapt Service- and installation-specific marketing materials, including collateral, social content, digital assets, presentations and partner resources.
  • Draft and adapt audience-appropriate content for military-connected youth, families, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Support content planning around military programs, events, observances and key storytelling moments throughout the year.
  • Support special events, activations and other military marketing opportunities from planning through execution.

 Create Photo & Video Content

  • Capture high-quality photography and video at military installations, BGCA events, Youth Centers and other activations.
  • Edit photography and video for social media, web, digital campaigns, presentations and marketing materials.
  • Produce short-form and social-first video content, including interviews, event recaps and youth and family stories.
  • Manage photo and video shoots from planning through post-production, including shot lists, schedules, on-site capture, asset selection and editing.
  • Identify and capture authentic moments that reflect military-connected youth, families, programs and communities.

Manage Creative Assets & Marketing Operations

  • Help build and maintain BGCA’s growing library of military photography, video and creative assets.
  • Organize, tag and manage assets so approved content can be easily found and activated across future marketing efforts.
  • Maintain approved selects, usage information and other asset documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing photography and video into new content.
  • Maintain content calendars, project trackers, partner deliverable trackers and other marketing documentation.
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support for Consumer Marketing priorities, including scheduling, meeting coordination, documentation, presentations, trackers and other special projects as needed.

What Success Looks Like

  • Independently own assigned military marketing projects and move them from planning through delivery.
  • Keep partner commitments, timelines, approvals and deliverables organized and on track.
  • Produce high-quality, authentic content and marketing resources for military-connected audiences.
  • Expand BGCA’s library of evergreen military photography, video and creative assets.
  • Build strong working relationships with BGCA teams, military partners, Youth Centers and external creative partners.
  • Provide dedicated execution and project management support to the Military Marketing Director
  • Bring sound judgment, initiative, creativity and strong execution to a growing area of BGCA’s marketing work.
