Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist based in United States.

This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and hiring exceptional technical talent across engineering and AI disciplines.
You will proactively source engineers across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure, and other highly technical areas.
The position combines talent mapping, technical profile assessment, candidate engagement, and end-to-end recruiting ownership.
You will work closely with hiring managers to understand complex technical requirements and continuously refine sourcing strategies.
The role requires the ability to look beyond titles and keywords to understand the substance, complexity, and relevance of a candidate’s work.
You will help build a high-quality technical recruiting pipeline in a fast-moving environment with demanding hiring standards.

Accountabilities:

• Source and proactively headhunt engineers across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure, and other technical disciplines.
• Build targeted talent maps across relevant technology companies, AI startups, research organizations, and technical communities.
• Evaluate technical profiles beyond job titles and company names by assessing the substance, complexity, and relevance of candidates’ experience.
• Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical experience, motivation, communication, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
• Manage candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach and screening through interviews, offers, and closing.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and continuously improve candidate targeting and sourcing strategies.
• Maintain a strong and organized recruiting pipeline with accurate candidate information, feedback, activity, and next steps in the ATS.
• Manage multiple searches and candidate processes simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience and recruiting quality.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including meaningful exposure to software engineering or other technical hiring.
• Proven experience with proactive candidate sourcing and headhunting rather than relying primarily on inbound applications.
• Ability to understand technical profiles and distinguish relevant, high-quality experience from surface-level keywords and job titles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when engaging passive technical candidates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple searches, candidates, and priorities simultaneously.
• High ownership, initiative, and willingness to quickly learn new technical domains.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with high hiring standards and evolving priorities.
• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, mobile, or other highly technical roles is a plus.
• International recruiting experience across the United States, Europe, or Asia is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and other sourcing or recruiting technologies is a plus.
