Position: Technical Support Engineer

Location: US or Canada Remote

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical troubleshooting skills while working with enterprise software used by organizations around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience with leading CRM and ERP platforms, SQL Server, web technologies, and cloud-hosted applications—all while building highly transferable technical skills.

This is not your typical call center support position. You'll work alongside experienced technical professionals to troubleshoot customer issues, collaborate with Engineering and Professional Services, and continually expand your technical expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Experlogix is seeking a Technical Support Engineer with strong technical aptitude and a passion for solving software problems. The ideal candidate enjoys understanding how software works, is comfortable troubleshooting databases, web applications, and integrations, and has experience with .NET technologies—or a strong desire to learn them.

In this role, you'll provide high-quality technical support for our CPQ software and its integrations with ERP and CRM platforms while working closely with teammates to resolve customer issues and grow your technical knowledge.

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere within the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical support resource for customer deployments and upgrades, providing timely and effective resolutions that contribute to customer success.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Experlogix CPQ software, SQL Server databases, ERP and CRM integrations, and web-based applications.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Professional Services, and other cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain technical expertise in Experlogix products, Microsoft technologies, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and SQL Server.
• Document troubleshooting steps, root causes, and resolutions within the company knowledge base.
• Identify recurring issues and provide feedback that improves product quality, support processes, and customer experiences.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions to continually expand your technical skill set.
• Escalate complex or product-related issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of customer communication and follow-through.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in technical support, application support, software development, IT support, or a similar technical role.
• Experience supporting enterprise software solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, NetSuite, or other ERP and CRM platforms is preferred but not required.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to write SQL queries for troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of web server technologies such as Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Server, Apache, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with web technologies including XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST-based APIs.
• Exposure to object-oriented programming concepts or scripting languages is helpful. Experience with .NET is a plus, but a willingness to learn is equally valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate technical issues, identify potential causes, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Experience configuring virtual machines and remote desktop connections is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, persistence, and a passion for learning new technologies and solving technical problems.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Certifications related to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Azure, or CPQ technologies are a plus but not required.
