Job Description

If so, we want to hear from you! At Club K After School Zone, we strive to make a positive difference in our students’ lives every single day.
Our organization is seeking an energetic, and dedicated Teacher/Program Leader to help us lead program activities and provide an enriching after-school experience for our K-5th grade students. As a Club K Program Leader, you will organize and lead daily activities that are both educational and exciting.
Schedule - Part-time position, Monday-Friday afternoons, average 12-20 hours per week.
Location - This position would work in one of our school programs in the Beaverton, Tigard-Tualatin or West Linn-Wilsonville School District.
Compensation - Starting hourly pay rate of $18.75+ DOE and level of education (increased hourly pay is available for highly qualified teacher applicants)
Qualifications:
Teachers must have ONE of the following -
- Experience teaching school age children (K-5th)
- Experience working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility with ages 5-12
- Completed teacher-qualifying certification(s) + trainings
- Any degree in the education field or 2 years of college-level courses
- An equivalent combination of childcare job experience and education
Qualifications needed before start date:
Club K will provide guidance on where and how to meet the following requirements:
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR)

We offer a personal level of service and attention that enables us to partner with schools, communities, and families to provide positive outcomes for the students in our programs. We have a scholarship fund that helps bridge the economic gap for qualified working families who need a bit of financial assistance to help with childcare costs.
We have grown to 16 locations in 3 school districts over the years. With over 30 years of combined experience in education and business, the owner has a passion for providing quality services to working families and their children. She is excited to be able to offer an innovative and creative program that meets the needs of today's students. She is committed to finding, training, and retaining quality staff.
Our program at Club K After School Zone follows the guidelines set forth by the National After School Association and meets or exceeds all licensing requirements in the state of Oregon for childcare programs.
