Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and complete all returns.

• Review estimate calculations and client T-letters

• Proactively manage and maintain workflow, ability to complete multiple projects within time constraints and deadlines.

• Manage tax department workflow. Determining priorities and commitments. Meet or exceed departmental goals & expectations. Plan and execute 2 week turnaround of deliverables. Actively look for ways to create efficiencies.

• Continue developing knowledge of technical competencies, Identify and research complex tax topics, determine IRS defendable stances on tax issues and represent client during audits.

• Take active role in mentoring and growing assigned team.

• Skills to communicate with individuals in and out of the firm. Being diligent in communicating; job status, concerns, questions.

• Strong verbal and written commination skills. Responsible for managing responses to client inquiries within 48 hours. Run client meetings

• Positive, Enthusiastic energy, professionalism, integrity, dependability, awareness of others core motive

• Build relationships internally with department and firm wide by taking on a role of growing the firm through new client referrals

• Take an active role in the understanding and awareness of billing of clients, profitability, and budgets

Compensation & Benefits

The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.

Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
