Tax Internship - Spring 2027 - Austin, TX

Spring 2027 internships run from approximately January 11 – March 12.

ATKG's internship program is your introduction to the world of public accounting, and to what makes ATKG different. Put your textbook knowledge to work on real client projects, get a feel for our innovative, collaborative environment, and find out that despite what you've heard about the "real world," work can be fun.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review client tax information for completeness
• Prepare individual, trust, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation returns
• Assist with basic tax research projects
• Make adjusting entries and complete trial balances
• Post client activity, including Schedule K-1s
• Learn depreciation concepts and related software
• Support tax projections and compliance forms (property tax, sales tax, payroll tax)

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate accounting major
• 3.2+ GPA (or a really good explanation)
• Completion of Intermediate Accounting 1
• Desire to learn
• Enthusiasm and positivity
