PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for the timely and accurate review of customer sales tax exemption certificates.  Work directly with customers or internal business partners to remediate any missing information required.   

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer exemption certificates for completeness and accuracy.
• Work with customers or internal partners to remediate any certificate deficiency.
• Apply appropriate exemption to customer account.
• Continuous learner who routinely shares experiences, best practices and information with team members to improve collective knowledge

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or related field - or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience in Finance, legal or customer service.
• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with team members, internal partners and external partners in a professional manner in person, via e-mail and phone.
• Open to development feedback and takes responsibility for personal development.
• Proficient communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrates proficient attention to detail, and accuracy and thoroughness in work.
• Take initiative/motivator that demonstrates proficient work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a adaptable business environment and handling a high volume of emails.
