At Lateral, we build digital products on time, on budget, and on quality. We're looking for software engineers, architects, and ML practitioners based in Latin America who want to work on technically demanding, often ambiguous problems where the work itself is the reward.

You'll own problems that matter. Your decisions will shape what gets built. You'll work with people who can make you better. And there won't be layers of approval, politics, or bureaucracy between you and the work itself.

The kind of person this works for

Someone who has owned something difficult before. Not managed or contributed to it, but owned the thinking, the building, and the outcome.

Someone who can think at the system level and execute at the implementation level. Who asks the right questions before anyone else does. Who moves without needing perfect information. Who cares about craft because shipping mediocre work genuinely bothers them.

If you need a clearly scoped role or constant direction to do your best work, this won't be the right fit. But if you can create structure in ambiguity and make everyone around you sharper just by being there, we want to talk.
