Talent Acquisition Specialist

CME Corp is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across the sales organization, from position approval and sourcing through offer acceptance and transition to onboarding. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, identify and evaluate qualified candidates, build talent pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience.

In addition to recruiting, this position provides onboarding support and assists with employee training and offboarding coordination.

Work Schedule & Arrangement

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a remote position with an initial period of in-person training at CME Corp’s Warwick, Rhode Island headquarters. The position is intended for candidates located within reasonable travel distance of Warwick, as occasional on-site attendance may be required.

Essential Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offers, pre-employment activities, and transition to onboarding.
• Proactively source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other recruiting channels.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current, anticipated, and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Screen and evaluate candidates and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Coordinate multi-stage interview and selection processes involving hiring managers, executives, and other stakeholders while maintaining timely communication throughout the process.
• Prepare and extend employment offers and manage the process through candidate acceptance.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and support hiring managers in effectively using the system, following established recruiting workflows, and maintaining appropriate interview and candidate documentation.
• Track recruiting activity and key metrics, including time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring outcomes.
• Maintain consistent follow-up and candidate engagement throughout extended recruiting processes, including difficult-to-fill positions.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and consistent selection practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, ATS utilization, and the overall candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Participate in local job fairs, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition activities as needed.
• Support and participate in employee events, engagement activities, and other HR initiatives as needed.

Onboarding, Training & Offboarding Support

• Maintain and track new hire onboarding checklists and coordinate outstanding activities with new hires, hiring managers, and appropriate departments.
• Conduct regular new hire check-ins to monitor onboarding progress and help ensure successful completion of onboarding requirements.
• Maintain the employee training schedule, track completion, and provide follow-up as needed.
• Maintain and track employee offboarding checklists and support completion of required offboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with additional Talent Acquisition and HR initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple open requisitions through multiple stages of the recruitment and selection process.
• Experience coordinating multi-stage interview processes involving multiple stakeholders and levels of leadership.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and other recruiting channels.
• Experience recruiting for difficult-to-fill positions or managing searches with extended recruiting timelines.
• Experience partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including providing guidance on recruiting processes, candidate evaluation, and use of recruiting systems.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidate activity, interview documentation, and recruiting workflows.
• Ability to maintain consistent candidate and requisition documentation and follow established recruiting and selection processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage competing priorities and maintain appropriate follow-up throughout lengthy recruitment processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with hiring managers, executives, and the HR team.
• Ability to attend initial in-person training and occasional on-site meetings or activities at CME Corp’s Warwick, Rhode Island headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience supporting or training hiring managers on Applicant Tracking Systems or structured recruiting processes.
• Experience recruiting across multiple states or geographic markets.
• Experience recruiting sales, field-based, or other difficult-to-fill positions.
• Experience coordinating interviews involving executives or senior leadership.
• Experience recruiting within healthcare, medical devices, distribution, or a related industry.
• Experience supporting onboarding and employee training activities.
