Position Summary
We are seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our expanding clinical team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming calls, route to appropriate departments, and page appropriate personnel.
- Triage and respond promptly and accurately to emergency calls according to establishes procedures.
- Greet patients and family members in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring professional representation of the organization.
- Keep switchboard internal and external directory up to date.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one year experience in a medical facility setting.
- Basic knowledge of computerized phone system.
- Strong customer service skills required.
