Position Details:
Shift:  PRN Variable
Certified Surgical Tech - Pay Range: $24.13 - $30.00

Job Summary:

• Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, and a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist works intra operatively in the preparation and handling of supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and therapeutic surgeon environment for the patients.
• The Surgical Technologist will perform as a team member for the common good of the patient take responsibility for personal action.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or Certification from national association of surgical technologist.
• Certification from National Association of Surgical Technologist required.
• CPR certification required (must obtain within 2 months of hire) 
• Minimum of one-year experience in a main operating room within the last two years preferred.
• Basic knowledge of scrub role— Handling of instruments, set up, anticipates surgeons needs— Knowledge of autoclaves— Transporting patients.
