Supervising Dentist - PT
Position Summary:
Supervises patient care services provided in the dental hygiene clinic.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide anesthesia to patients when indicated
- Administer nitrous oxide
- Manage emergency medical procedures when necessary
- Monitor safety practices and infection control standards in the dental clinic
- Authorize and document radiographs indicated for patient care
- Authorizes dental hygiene treatment plans based on review of medical/dental history
- Administer pharmaceutical medications when indicated for patient care
- Perform other clinical duties as directed by the Director of Dental Hygiene
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

• Current dental license in Georgia • Professional experience necessary to understand and fulfill program goals • Excellent oral and written communications • Five years of full-time dental practice experience |
Classification: Exempt
Work Hours: May be part-time or full-time, vary daily and include evening/weekend hours.
