SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a mid-level Superintendent role designated for individuals with experience running jobs independently but not yet responsible for mentoring other Superintendents or managing multiple projects concurrently

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Project Leadership & Execution

Oversee all field operations from mobilization through close-out, ensuring progress aligns with schedule, budget, and quality goals.
Conduct daily site walks to verify production, safety compliance, and quality control.
Manage site logistics, labor, equipment, and subcontractors for optimal workflow.
Coordinate with the Project Manager to forecast needs, monitor costs, and track milestones.

Safety & Quality Assurance

Enforce Stancil’s safety program and OSHA standards, conducting daily and weekly safety meetings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free site that reflects company professionalism.
Proactively identify and resolve potential safety or quality issues, escalating concerns with recommended solutions to the Director of Operations and Project Manager.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds Stancil’s craftsmanship standards and project specifications.

Communication & Close-Out

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for builders, clients, and field representatives.
Lead weekly coordination meetings to address trade sequencing, scheduling conflicts, and scope alignment.
Document daily reports, safety toolbox talks, and site photos.
Oversee project close-out activities including inspections, punch lists, and trade partner sign-offs.
Foster strong collaboration among office staff, field teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

Minimum 3 years of construction site supervision; experience on large commercial or multi-family projects preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of paint and drywall trades.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.
Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam.
OSHA-certified with a proactive, safety-first mindset.
Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy.
Willingness to travel across the Carolinas as needed.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

Position is primarily field-based and requires regular presence on active construction sites.
Frequently walk multi-story buildings, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Maintain excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work both independently and collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and Stancil teams.
Ensure every project meets Stancil’s standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Use of computer, smartphone, CRM platforms, forecasting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation tools is required.
Familiarity with field-based project-management technology is expected.
