Your Impact

As a Summer Analyst, you are in the middle of real client work from day one. You will contribute to the analysis that shapes our recommendations, working alongside colleagues at every level, from fellow analysts to our Leadership. This is not a role where you wait your turn. Your read on what the analysis means is part of how we reach an answer, so you are contributing to the direction of the work, not just producing the output.

The industries we serve never sit still. We work across an ecosystem that encompasses Media and Entertainment, Software and Technology Services, eCommerce and Marketplaces, Telecom and Connectivity, Consumer Digital Services, Data and Information, Sports, Tech-Enabled Businesses and Services, Video Gaming and Interactive Entertainment, and Hardware and Devices. These are among the fastest-moving sectors in the economy, where business models, technologies, and consumer behavior shift constantly and fast. The questions our clients bring are distinct, so you will constantly be challenged to bring solutions. 

Across all of it, you will:

• Run industry and user research, including market and consumer trend analysis, commissioned surveys, and executive interviews
• Build the quantitative analysis that drives our thinking, from market sizing and revenue models to financial analysis
• Contribute to brainstorming and help shape the direction of the work, not just execute it
• Design and create client-ready presentations that turn analysis into clear recommendations
• Capture the substance of client and expert conversations through sharp note-taking and information gathering
• Stay ahead of the trends reshaping technology and media, and bring that perspective to the team

Your Growth

We built Activate around apprenticeship. You will learn the craft by doing, working closely with senior team members who invest real time in how you think, improve, and grow. Your development follows a personalized track based on your goals, strengths, and passion. 

During your summer with us, you will build:

• A structured way to break down genuinely complex, ambiguous problems and turn them into a clear plan
• Real experience building trust-based relationships with clients, not just serving them
• Communication skills sharp enough to hold a room across every level of seniority
• The instincts to build buy-in with the stakeholders who need convincing, not just informing

Activate compensates its consultants competitively for the impact they deliver. As a Summer Analyst, you will receive $9,350 monthly.
