Summer Associate - Strategic Development Analytics

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Strategic Development team in Naples, FL is responsible for supporting product development with strategic planning, data analytics and corporate development activities. The successful candidate will perform various projects related to these topics with guidance from the Strategic Development Team, while possessing an internal sense of urgency, passion and detail. During the Summer Associate program, candidates will interact with all key departments that impact product development. Main Objective:

To better understand the theories, ideas, and practices of Strategic Planning, Data Analytics and Corporate Development by actively engaging in a "hands-on," work-based, learning experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional analyses supporting product commercialization decisions.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Develop and/or enhance competitive intelligence and pricing models using Excel and PowerBI.
• Create executive-ready deliverables and present strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership (Product Management, Sales, Finance, etc.).
• Identify and implement improvements to analytical methodologies, tools, and data processes.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required. 
• Enrolled in a Master’s program required, preferably in Business, Analytics or a related field. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
• Experience with data modeling and analytics highly preferred.
• Familiarity with strategic planning methodologies, financial analysis, and data engineering preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Intermediate to Expert computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. PowerPoint applications proficiency a plus.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel; Power BI.
