Summer 2027 Intern - Life Company

An internship with our company is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10-to-14-week program that starts in mid-May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities.

You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching.

Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to our company office location.

Compensation Minimum: $25.00
Compensation Maximum: $39.00

As a Compliance intern, you will gain valuable insights in to how a Life Insurance Company operates. As a company-wide assurance function, you will have a front row seat to everything the company does, whether it is developing new products or services to how a claim is paid and everything in-between. While reporting directly to the Director of Compliance, you will primarily focus on helping the team develop new ways of doing things using the newest technologies.

•      Develop an understanding of our business, corporate culture and structure to support your work.

•      Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations.

Requirements

•      Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later.

•      Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD.

•      Major/program must align with internship role.

•      Understanding of evolving technologies.

• Up to 10%.

• Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Additional Information

• To ensure a strong start, all employees participate in our New Employee Orientation during their first week.  This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth.  At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability.
