Job Summary

As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key accounting and finance functions, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and quarterly reporting. You'll also assist with audit activities and contribute to data analysis, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives using modern accounting and analytics tools.

Work Location

This position is an in-office role located in West Bend, WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Students must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) at our West Bend location during the summer break (May – August).

As an Accounting Intern, you will conduct general accounting duties including assistance with the following:

• Data entry, general account reconciliations and journal entries
• Financial Analysis
• Quarterly Reporting
• Providing support for internal/external audits
• Assist with data analysis, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives using digital accounting and analytics tools

In addition to the day-to-day tasks, interns will have an opportunity to participate in volunteer initiatives, networking/social events, and more!

The ideal candidate will be task-oriented and work with limited need for supervision.

Preferred Experience and SkillsPursuing a Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting (Graduating Winter 2027 or Spring 2028)GPA of 3.5 or higherInterest in leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve accounting and financial processes

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), required

Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, data analysis techniques) preferred
