Location: Maryville, TN

Internship Term: Summer 2027 (May – August)

We are seeking the 2027 Home Building Group Intern Team. Our Intern Team will play a crucial role in supporting various business functions while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. Our Internship Program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to business operations, project management, and cross-departmental collaboration. Through mentorship and structured learning opportunities, the intern will develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of our industry. Ultimately, this role aims to prepare the intern for future professional success by fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.

What You will Do:

    •         Contribute to project based strategic initiatives that influence Clayton’s growth and operational efficiency.

•         Participate in intern events, networking sessions, lunch and learns, and leadership panels to enhance your understanding of Clayton’s mission and business model.

• Execute business initiatives while receiving hands on experience and mentoring.
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to complete goals and objectives.
• End of Summer Executive presentation highlighting your contributions and experiences during the internship

What We Are Looking For:

• Junior or Senior standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university
• Interested in pursuing a career in Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, and garner respect from other team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
