Sugarloaf Employee Housing Maintenance Technician

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for a reliable team member to join our Employee Housing team this winter in a Maintenance Technician role. The Employee Housing Maintenance Technician supports resident comfort and safety by maintaining the condition of buildings associated with employee housing along with public areas and outside public access areas throughout each shift.

This role works closely with the Housekeeper and Facility Manager and requires availability across a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting hourly wage will be between $19-21 depending upon experience. 

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident and building needs to support a well-maintained environment 
• Conduct regular building walk-throughs to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns 
• Complete work orders spanning carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs 
• Set up, clean and inspect assigned work locations
• Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkways, applying sand or salt as needed 
• Restock supplies regularly and monitor inventory levels 
• Identify and document maintenance issues and report them promptly for resolution 
• Secure resident belongings left in rooms and report found items to the Facility Manager 
• Assist in other resort lodging locations and public spaces as operational needs require 
• Assist with maintenance projects as directed by Facility Manager
