Job Details: Job Location: MIDDLE SCHOOL - MIAMI, FL, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Ransom Everglades School seeks dynamic and reliable substitute educators to support our academic and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is flexible, professional, and passionate about working with students in a nurturing, mission-driven environment. This role may involve classroom teaching across various grade levels, providing administrative support in school offices, or helping with supervision after dismissal on early release days. 

This is an on-call position designed to provide support when our regular team member is unavailable. The School is unable to guarantee a set number of hours each week, and the role does not offer employer-sponsored benefits.

Substitute Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapt instruction as needed.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure continuity of learning.
Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed.

Administrative Substitute Responsibilities:

Provide support in the front office or division offices.
Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with clerical tasks.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Assist with scheduling, data entry, and other administrative duties.
