Job Description
Academic Year: 26/27 Fall & Spring
Required Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with fixed hours 2 to 4 hours per week.
Position Overview:
The Student Success Center is looking for Tutors to provide academic/writing support to students outside the classroom by helping students understand course material, prepare for exams, improve their study strategies, or assist with writing skits. Tutors will work closely with faculty to align tutoring efforts with course objectives and student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students in understanding course material, develop effective study skills, and prepare for exams and quizzes.
- Work closely with faculty to understand course content and identify students needing extra help. Provide feedback on common academic challenges.
Qualifications:
- Students with strong academic performance in the course(s) to be tutored, with faculty recommendation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts.
- ability to work independently and collaborate with faculty.

RN to BS in Nursing Mission
The RN to BS Nursing program is designed for students who hold an RN license and have earned an Associate degree in Nursing or diploma in nursing. Curriculum requirements may be met through transfer credits, course enrollment, and challenge exams. Nursing students matriculated in an Associate degree nursing program may enroll in the RN to BS program before graduating from the ADN program.Students may enroll for part-time or full-time study.

Master of Science in Nursing Mission
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is designed to provide nurses from all clinical and academic backgrounds the opportunity to obtain a graduate degree in nursing.
