The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Esports at our Brenham Campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:
Job Summary
To
assist the Dean's office and Esports program with office duties.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assist
with daily operations of Dean's office and Esports Arena. - Assist
with maintaining organization of Esports Arena. - Assist
with filing, making copies, and processing of paperwork. - Keep
track of supplies. - Assist
with computer applications. - Observe
appropriate dress codes. - Possess
and demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette and provides superior
customer service. - Assist
the department with student, staff/faculty, and community events. - Report
damage or theft to the supervisor immediately. - Serve
as a communication liaison between students and Esports staff. - Maintain
acceptable work standards. - Effectively
address questions or problems presented, or make appropriate referral. - Respect
confidentiality. - Be
friendly, cooperative, and appreciative to other personnel. - Act
professionally and as a Esports representative. - Ability
to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other
employees and the public. - Other
duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or
Certifications
• Must be federal work
study eligible.
• Must be at least a half
time student.
Minimum Competencies
• Must be willing to learn
and train effectively and efficiently within a team oriented environment.
Customer
service experience
Preferred Qualifications
Esports program student, Engineering, Computer Science or
Information Technology majors

Special Notes To Applicants
10 to 19 hours per week, depending on work-study approval. Day or/and night,
flexible
Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
Must have a great attitude and willing to be flexible with
hours of operation.
No current or pending disciplinary sanctions.
