Job Description:

Two position s will cover front desk duties at the Albuquerque Center, morning shifts beginning at 8am and the evening shifts beginning at 1pm, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be included. Preferred work schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Employment term is Fall 2026. Work Location/Campus Center Albuquerque/SW Campus (CNM-Montoya site). Work hours are flexible. May involve a modest degree of responsibility and judgment. Routine data entry; Answering phones; Making copies; Greeting Customers; Taking messages; Managing confidential information; Maintain regular attendance; and perform other job duties as assigned. Standing, Walking, Bending, Squatting, Kneeling, Repetitive hand motion, Prolonged use of computer. Occasionally: Lifting a minimum of thirty (30) pounds, climbing.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

College student at NMHU 

Enrolled wit a minimum of six (6) credit hours.

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Specific Duties- Answer phone calls, set advisement appointments on shared calender, greet guest and direct to appropriate offices, answer center emails, check and process USPS mail, assist in student services and center events. Assist in digital media outreach projects using various platforms
