REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Position Reports to: Program Director
Positions Supervised: None
POSITION PURPOSE
This is a student position hired while enrolled in a program within the University. Student employees are required to work less than or equal to 8 hours per week. While student employees receive all legally mandated benefits (i.e. workers’ compensation insurance and Social Security), they are ineligible to participate in RMUoHP’s other benefit programs including but not limited to health and dental benefits, holiday pay, vacation pay, and sick pay. Student employees will not have access to secure areas involving the protection of FERPA and HIPPA regulations including but not limited to faculty and administrative offices, file rooms, server rooms, and mail rooms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Program administrative assistant and departmental faculty
- Check in clinic clients
- Help organize clinical supplies
- Help clean / organize clinical rooms
- Help clean / organize the student break area
- Help sterilize endoscopy equipment
- Help faculty with endoscopy lab organization
- Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge: |
Knowledge of MS MedSLP Program courses, preparation and student competencies. |

Experience Required: |
Must be an active RMU student Experience with speech pathology field |

Must be detail oriented. Must be able to work efficiently and be willing to learn new tasks. Must possess strong computer skills, specifically in research and organization. Ability to work independently. Ability to interact professionally with others. |
