This unique, system-wide float role offers the opportunity to support patients in a variety of acute care settings while building clinical confidence and skills alongside experienced caregivers. • PRN, self-scheduled role (minimum 24 hours every 6 weeks)
• Includes 12 weekend hours and holiday rotation
• Flexible scheduling through BJC Flex
• Same-day assignment model – you know when you work, and gain experience across different locations and units
• Care for diverse patient populations in units such as ED, ICU, PACU, telemetry, and med/surg
• $3/hour float differential 
• Shift differentials

Key Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program
• Completion of nursing fundamentals with clinical component required
• Willingness to travel to all East Region locations (including Illinois)
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide compassionate, patient-centered care in new environments
• Must submit end-of-term grades and upcoming school schedule to remain active
• Targeted start date: 11/30, 12/14 or 1/11
• Initial 3-week full-time training commitment required to support your success in the role before transitioning to the regular schedule.
