Event Staff - Fall 2026

Job Requirements:
All Event Staff have the following responsibilities: Act as point of contact for programs and activities by facilitating sign-ins, tracking attendance and assisting performers/presenters as needed • Participate in training and development workshops and attend mandatory staff meetings • Be available to work during the day, evening, late nights and occasionally on weekends • Work up to 10 hours per week at programs and activities • Applicants will need to be able to work two-hour shifts or longer to be considered for the position • Event Staff are expected to: • Work as a team on projects and to follow through with ideas from conception to completion • Be reliable, flexible and able to follow work schedule • Pay attention to project timelines and deadlines • Serve as a role model and act in a professional manner • Demonstrate a capacity for planning ahead and project management • Be familiar with the services, structures, and systems of TC3 • Solve problems using creative and critical thinking skills • Take initiative and work independently • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills • Set a positive tone for interaction and demonstrate responsibility and respect for others’ rights, feelings, lifestyles, and diverse backgrounds • Encourage students to participate in campus activities • Maintain good academic and judicial standing with a minimum required GPA of 2.0 • Express enthusiasm and positive energy in a dynamic work environment • Ability to lift 25lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Job Description:
Event Staff are charged with maintaining a safe environment for attendees, other staff, and self at Student Activities events on campus. Specific duties include setting up/break down of events, being a point of contact for vendors, and staffing the individual needs of each event. This is a great position for high energy students that have an interest in event management. The hours for this position are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on the event needs and availability.
Hourly Rate: $16.00
