Job Description

Job Title: CAS Program Evaluation Assistant
Department: CAS
Student Employment Type: Federal Work Study              
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting 3 CAS faculty members on a program evaluation for the CT Department of Public Health’s Menstrual Equity Project.
  • Updating contact information of administration and staff at CT public schools
  • Corresponding (via email and possibly phone) with contacts at these schools
  • Assist faculty in scheduling and conducting focus groups and/or interviews
  • Assisting with data entry, cleaning, and analysis using Excel
  • Reviewing data available on public government websites (e.g., school size, attendance)
  • Literature review
Qualifications:
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Basic quantitative skills 
  • Basic fluency with Excel 
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) 
  • Ability to work with confidential data responsibly and ethically
Hours of Position:
  • 5 hours per week, scheduled by arrangement with supervisor
