Pay Range: Targeted salary range of $12.00 - $25.00/hr, based on education and experience

Position Introduction: Fitness and Recreation strives to help all student employees develop their career readiness upon graduation. Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies, per The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines which are:
This position is for employment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Training will begin immediately upon hire. Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience. This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes. |

The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) offers in-person English language courses for international students on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma, and off-site courses for businesses providing English-language courses for their employees.
Our location on campus provides students with access to all University of Oklahoma resources including housing, dining, transportation, libraries, medical facilities, and more.
We provide the following English language services:
* Intensive English Program: Full time, 20 hours per week including:
-grammar
-reading
-writing
-listening
-speaking
-seminars - U.S. history/government, presentation skills, public speaking, test preparation
* Test prep: IELTS, TOEFL iBT
* Community English: Part-time courses for students already living in our community
-General English, including grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing
* Individualized programs designed for partner universities or businesses
