Strategic Account Executive: Life Sciences
Boost your chances before you apply.
OneStep
US
Summary
The Strategic Account Executive will own revenue growth for the Life Sciences vertical by building and managing a portfolio of strategic accounts. They will drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while aligning the company's clinical and technical capabilities with partner priorities.
Job Description
OneStep turns any smartphone into a clinical-grade motion lab, delivering continuous, real-world gait and mobility data without wearables, sensors, or calibration. Gait is a well-established biomarker across musculoskeletal, neurological, oncological, cardiovascular, and metabolic conditions, yet it has been historically hard to capture outside of expensive gait labs. OneStep removes that barrier, giving life sciences companies a scalable way to generate real-world evidence, track intervention effects on mobility and function, and strengthen clinical and regulatory narratives with objective, population-scale data. As life sciences companies face growing pressure to demonstrate real-world outcomes and differentiate in crowded categories, objective mobility data has become a critical clinical and commercial signal.
We're looking for a self-driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive to own revenue growth across this vertical. You'll be a key member of the team, and you'll continue our expansion across medical device manufacturers, pharma, and biotech companies, building the pipeline engine and refining a repeatable commercial model as we scale. This role is for someone who builds pipelines, opens doors, and closes deals independently.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets for the Life Sciences vertical
- Build and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts across medical device, pharma, and biotech companies, driving the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Design and execute account strategies that align OneStep's capabilities with each partner's clinical, evidence-generation, regulatory, and commercial priorities
- Identify, engage, and expand relationships with decision-makers and champions across Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, Evidence Generation, Digital Health, and commercial functions
- Translate OneStep's clinical and technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for scientific, clinical, and business audiences
- Structure and negotiate phased commercial engagements, from initial pilots and evidence-generation programs to broader enterprise partnerships
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes spanning clinical, legal, security, procurement, and executive teams
- Maintain CRM discipline and forecasting rigor, and surface market and competitive intelligence to leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to sharpen positioning and translate field learnings into product and market strategy
- Represent OneStep at relevant industry conferences to generate opportunities and strengthen market presence
- Travel up to 30% for customer meetings, industry events, and conferences

If you're excited to combine your life sciences relationships, sales expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset to scale a market, we'd love to talk.
Falls. Chronic pain. Neurological conditions. Heart health. Even cancer. Mobility-related health challenges impact 1 in 4 people. Gait (the way that we move) is one of the strongest indicators of these conditions, yet it is rarely measured in routine care.
OneStep makes real-world gait analysis easy, accessible, and scalable - using just a smartphone. By turning movement into a measurable health signal, we help solve some of healthcare’s biggest problems and improve quality of life for millions.
How it works:
1. Patient just walks with the smartphone in their pocket (actively measured or passively monitored, in real life).
2. Receive objective, clinically validated insights in seconds.
3. Intervene proactively, from anywhere.
FDA listed, HIPAA compliant, ISO 27001, ISO 13485.
Over 35B steps analyzed, over 200,000 patients treated, deployed across US, Canada, Israel and Australia with meaningful outcomes:
- $2,797 savings per patient
- 41% higher engagement
- 25% fewer falls
- 42% faster recovery from MSK surgeries
- 6.5 monthly hours saved per clinician
