Stocker

Job Details: Job Location: Zuppardos Family Market - Metairie, LA, Salary Range: $12.00 - $14.00Hourly, Stock team members  are reliable , energetic, team driven individual who are ready to work in a fast paced environment. They are  detail  orientated,  able to multitask and complete assignments, while providing excellent customer service. They perform all functions related to receiving, breaking down and stocking merchandise.

Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
Arrive at workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
Attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency
Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership
Maintains a safe and clean environment, adheres to all equipment safety procedures as instructed and complies with all health and safety procedures  
Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, frozen and dairy cases
Keeps aisles clean and clutter free
Ability to follow directions and procedures, match UPC codes to shelf tags for proper stocking, rotating merchandise, and keeping shelves fronted
Strong communication skills, works well in team environment 
Assist with unloading trucks and breaking down and stocking merchandise 
Ability to learn basic knowledge and location of department products
Performs other duties as assigned by store or team leadership

Qualifications:
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to walk or stand for 8 hours and sometime exceeding
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, reach above shoulder height
Ability to work in cold and wet environment
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
