Stocker

Job Title: Stocker – Airport Concession

 Job Summary: Stocker in an airport concession (e.g., gift shop, café, deli, newsstand)
 This role is hands-on and essential for keeping the concession store running smoothly, stocking products, maintaining the receiving/stockroom area, ensuring products are always available, and maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill shelves, coolers, and display areas with merchandise or food items, ensuring all products are available for sale 
• Keep the receiving/stockroom area clean, orderly, and ready for daily operations. This includes arranging items neatly, rotating stock to maintain freshness, and labeling or organizing supplies.
• Receive deliveries, unpack, and store items in the correct locations. May involve lifting, stacking, and moving goods 
• Assist in preparing the store for opening hours, ensuring all supplies (food, beverages, promotional items) are in place 
• Work with concession staff to meet sales targets and maintain a well-stocked, attractive store environment.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to work standing for long periods and lift to 50 lbs. 
• Attention to detail in organizing and labeling items.
• Good time management to meet restocking schedules.
• Friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude to support the store environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, high-traffic setting.

Additional Expectations:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail, warehouse, or stockroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Have reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual.
• Adhere to Tailwind policies, practices and procedures
• Adhere to all existing and future airport regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned/required

Activity Requirements:

1. Physical Effort:

• Normal physical mobility and agility (reach above the head, bend, or stoop)
• Normal physical strength to handle 50+ pound objects, taking frequency into consideration
• Normal ability to stand for various durations of time
• Normal dexterity of hands and fingers for handling money, products, etc.
• Normal coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot/perform repetitive motions while maintaining good balance and coordination
• Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning, and pulling

2. Mental Effort:

• Normal concentration and memory
• Normal complexity of decision making

3. Work Environment:

• Fast paced during peak hours
• Close interaction with customers
