Sprout Social is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the strategy, delivery, and scaling of our partner and platform integration ecosystem. This role sits at the center of a critical shift for Sprout: moving from bespoke, one-off partner integrations toward a scalable, platform-based integration model that reduces engineering lift per partner while expanding the ecosystem of systems that connect to Sprout.

This is an individual contributor role requiring deep technical fluency in integration architecture (APIs, managed packages, platform events, OAuth/permission models) paired with strong commercial judgment on what's worth building, for whom, and when.

Our Product team operates at the intersection of strategy, innovation, customer value, and go-to-market collaboration. We are focused on delivering unified, data-driven solutions across our multi-product portfolio. As part of the broader R&D organization, our team collaborates closely with Engineering, Product Design, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to create impactful experiences for customers while driving measurable business outcomes. This cross-functional partnership ensures that our products not only meet technical excellence but are also positioned effectively in the market, aligning with customer needs and business growth objectives. You won't just help set the vision for our integration platform, you'll also play a key role in shaping our overall approach to partner and platform strategy and own both strategy, execution, and outcomes. 

What you’ll do

• Own individual integrations strategy end-to-end from pricing and packaging to distribution strategy to GA readiness, including ongoing relationship management with cross-functional teams
• Partner closely with Engineering to sequence integration investments, balancing near-term customer/revenue commitments against longer-term platform scalability
• Define and execute platform-based integration strategies (e.g., generalized APIs or connectors) that let customers self-integrate, reducing the need for bespoke builds per vendor
• Serve as the key driver of integration lifecycle management, from alpha and beta through GA and post-launch scaling, aligning with strategic partners and key customers on roadmap, timeline, and requirements at each stage
• Own permissioning, security, and licensing model decisions for packaged integrations (managed packages, namespace strategy, license management)
• Build the business case and prioritization framework for new integration bets, including clear kill criteria and proof points before scaling investment
• Act as connective tissue between GTM, Partnerships, and Engineering to ensure integration work is commercially viable, not just technically sound
• Drive the execution of "best-in-class" product delivery, balancing the urgency of immediate customer needs with the long-term scalability and innovation of our core

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and visionary product manager to help our company build the right integrations strategy. If you can work cross-functionally to build, launch, and grow our integrations ecosystem, and align teams around solving hard problems together, we'd love to talk with you!

• 10+ years of PM experience in ecosystem or integration roles in a B2B product-driven SaaS environment.
• Proven success leading initiatives in a multi-product portfolio company.
• Experience collaborating closely with product, design, engineering, and GTM leaders to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Experience partnering with distributed engineering teams across different time zones
• A default toward over communication: written specs, recorded walkthroughs, decision logs, and proactive status instead of waiting to be asked.

**We are only looking for candidates located in Central or Eastern time zone due to heavy cross collaboration with international teams**

How you’ll grow

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

• Completing Sprout Social’s new hire training & onboarding program alongside other new Sprout team members. You’ll gain a broader understanding of our products and how your role fits into the organization.
• Learning the current state of integrations at Sprout, along with future product and technical roadmaps.
• Diving into our products to learn about what makes our software unique and why customers love our products.
• Beginning to understand the capabilities and limitations of our integrations
• Establishing relationships with other product, engineering, design and revenue leaders and identifying areas of opportunity.
• Get hands-on with Sprout’s products, experiencing them from the customer’s perspective.
• Establishing a working cadence with your engineering partners in Poland, including how you'll handle handoffs, async decisions, and the daily overlap window.

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

• Partnering with senior product leaders to define key success metrics for your role and teams and how you will measure against them.
• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions, asking the right questions to guide your team to successful outcomes.
• Participating in planning and roadmap processes and helping to shape the product roadmap for long-term success.

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:

• Becoming an expert in Sprout's integration ecosystem and confidently speaking to partner strategy, technical tradeoffs, and platform roadmap with internal and external stakeholderS
• Owning the integration roadmap and delivering measurable results on key strategic initiatives.
• Identify key opportunities to improve cross-team collaboration and alignment.
• Standing up working cadences to build and deliver on product roadmap and outcomes in partnership with design, engineering, and GTM teams

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

• Consistently meeting and exceeding established performance targets.
• Obtaining (solicited and unsolicited) and acting upon peer, customer, and leadership feedback.
• Continue to evolve Sprout’s product culture, shaping the next generation of product managers.
• Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to change our integration capabilities at Sprout in beneficial ways that we haven’t even considered yet!

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.

Our salary ranges reflect the expected earning potential for this role. Individual pay is based on geographic zone, relevant experience, and skills.

Our current hiring range for this role: $164,800 – $206,000 annually. Offers are made within this range, with opportunities to grow within the broader band based on performance and impact.

We share both our current hiring range and our broader geographic salary bands to provide transparency into our compensation philosophy. This ensures you understand not only your starting potential but also the long-term growth potential available as you progress in your role.

We have two geographic pay zones in the United States:

Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $181,300 – $271,900

Zone 2 (All other US states): $164,800– $247,200

These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.
