Job Description
UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time Staff Physician (Hospitalist) for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School.
Position Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the further growth of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation clinical services and programs at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and other facilities affiliated with UTHealth Houston Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Consulting, attending, and clinic services at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and related facilities.
- Attending Physician on-call service coverage for the rehabilitation service at Memorial Hermann Hospitals and related facilities.
- Complying with all Memorial Hermann Hospital and UTHealth Houston policies, procedures, and reporting.
- Participating in McGovern Medical School and Hospital Committees.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Physician, Medical & Rehabilitation.
- Texas Medical license or the ability to obtain a license.
- Outstanding clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
