Staff Physician, Emergency Medicine (Full-time) - McGovern Medical School

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for full-time Staff Physician positions in the Department of Emergency Medicine. 

Position Key Accountabilities: 

Responsibilities will include providing clinical service efforts at Memorial Hermann and Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, and helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center.  Duties will include providing direct delivery of medical care, working with other members of a multidisciplinary treatment team, including consultants, when necessary, and participating in the quality assurance activities of the department. The Staff Physician will report to the medical director but is expected to practice independently.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO,
• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine,
• Licensed or eligible for full medical licensure in the State of Texas.
• Practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine in a manner that supports the needs of the patient.
