Position:

The Stadium Operations Supervisor is part of the Stadium Operations department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

Position Summary:
The Stadium Operations Supervisor will assist with operational tasks on both event and non-event days including set up, executions, and teardown of events with facility related tasks at Allianz Field and the National Sports Center. This role will also support and lead part-time Stadium Operations Staff.

This is a part-time position with responsibilities at Allianz Field in St. Paul, MN and National Sports Center in Blaine, MN reporting to the Facility Operations Manager and Facility Operations Coordinator.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead event conversions and venue setup operations, transforming stadium and event spaces for matches, concerts, corporate events, and other special events.

• Supervise and support part-time Stadium Operations staff during event setup, execution, and breakdown while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to established standards.

• Attend event planning and setup meetings, communicate event requirements and logistics, and ensure staffing teams are fully prepared for execution.

• Partner with the Stadium Operations Coordinator and Stadium Operations Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and event-ready facility.

• Conduct quality audits of event spaces, verifying proper setup, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness while coordinating solutions to any identified issues.

• Operate facility equipment, including forklifts and scissor lifts, to support venue operations and event conversions (training and certification provided if needed).

• Assist with facility improvement projects and perform minor repairs and maintenance on stadium equipment, furnishings, and building assets.

• Utilize operational systems and technology, including Dayforce, Asana, and UpKeep, to manage schedules, work orders, projects, and daily assignments.

• Play a key role in matchday operations for MNUFC and MNUFC2 events, supporting venue setup, event execution, and post-event breakdown activities.

• Train and mentor part-time Stadium Operations staff on setup procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices to ensure consistent execution and guest experience.

• Prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, safety, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in facility, venue, stadium, or event operations; sports and entertainment industry experience is a plus.

• Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring part-time, seasonal, operations staff preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent time management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• A collaborative mindset with a team-first approach to problem-solving and execution.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively relay information, expectations, and priorities to staff.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing event needs while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on matchdays, events, and stadium needs.

• Ability to regularly lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable being on your feet and actively working throughout most of a shift.

• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoor conditions during all seasons.

• Willingness to perform hands-on operational work and support all aspects of event execution.

Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The compensation range for this part-time (non-exempt) role is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
