• Welcome and assist students, families, and campus visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and respond to general questions.
• Direct students to the appropriate Student Affairs department or staff member.
• Assist with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Business Office front desk operations.
• Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars as assigned.
• Scan, copy, file, and organize confidential student documents.
• Assist with processing paperwork and preparing student files.
• Maintain organized office spaces and replenish office supplies.
• Assist with student outreach events, orientations, workshops, and campus activities.
• Prepare informational materials and assemble packets for students.
• Enter basic information into college systems while maintaining data accuracy.
• Assist with mail distribution and office correspondence.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA regulations.
• Perform other office and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Eligible for Work-Study employment.
• Enrolled in 6 Credit hours at UNM-Taos in good academic standing.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
