Sr Video Editor & Motion Designer

This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-moving creative environment where storytelling, design, and technology come together to produce high-impact video content across digital, broadcast, and OTT platforms. You will be responsible for shaping visually compelling narratives that perform across both sound-on and sound-off environments, while maintaining strong alignment with brand and strategic objectives. Working closely with creative directors, producers, designers, and copywriters, you will contribute to a highly collaborative studio-style workflow. The position blends hands-on editing with motion design, requiring both technical expertise and strong visual storytelling instincts. You will also play an active role in exploring and integrating emerging AI tools to enhance creative workflows and production efficiency. This is a highly dynamic role for a designer-editor who thrives in deadline-driven environments and is excited to push the boundaries of modern video production.

Accountabilities:

• Edit and deliver video content across multiple formats, including OTT, broadcast, digital advertising, PMAX, sizzle reels, and social media assets from concept through final delivery.
• Design and animate motion graphics that communicate effectively in both sound-on and sound-off environments.
• Ensure all creative outputs are on-brand, strategically aligned, and technically optimized for platform specifications.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, art directors, and copywriters throughout the production process.
• Present work-in-progress edits and final deliverables to internal stakeholders and clients when required.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to production workflows and delivery standards.
• Experiment with and integrate AI-powered tools into video and motion workflows to improve efficiency and creativity.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of internal video and motion design practices and standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in video editing and motion design within an agency, studio, or similar creative environment.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (required).
• Strong experience working in Figma for collaborative design workflows.
• Solid understanding of design fundamentals including typography, layout, composition, and motion principles.
• Proven ability to create video content optimized for both sound-on and sound-off viewing environments.
• Experience producing content across OTT, broadcast, digital advertising, and social media platforms.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills throughout the production process.
• Active experience experimenting with AI-powered creative tools such as generative visuals, AI-assisted editing, or automated workflows.
• Ability to work effectively during PST business hours in a fully remote environment.
• Portfolio submission required for consideration.
