Viva is hiring a Sr. SEO & AEO Copywriter to help build an in-house organic-growth engine from the ground up. You’ll turn search strategy into useful, high-quality content that reaches the right audience and earns visibility across Google and AI-powered search.

Why this role exists

Viva currently has no in-house content owner. Our content production depends on an external agency, which limits our ability to maintain quality, build a consistent publishing cadence, and improve content based on performance.

The SEO & AEO Manager owns the organic-search roadmap. You will turn that roadmap into accurate, useful, publish-ready content: keyword-cluster pages, solution pages, landing copy, and improvements to underperforming content.

What you'll do

1. Write and publish SEO and AEO content end to end. Turn keyword-cluster briefs into solution pages, landing pages, guides, and content refreshes.

2. Understand the audience. Create content around Viva’s ideal customer profile, their pain points, search intent, and the problems they are trying to solve.

3. Run an AI-assisted workflow. Use AirOps, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools for research, outlining, and drafting, then apply human judgment for accuracy, originality, voice, and factual correctness.

4. Optimize existing content. Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to decide what to rewrite, consolidate, or improve.

5. Apply on-page SEO. Use headings, metadata, internal linking, schema, and sound page structure.

6. Research competitors and benchmarks. Identify content gaps and opportunities.

7. Own the publishing cadence. Maintain the editorial calendar and make clean, dev-ready handoffs to the WordPress developer.

8. Improve the content system. Help create the processes and standards needed to produce high-quality content consistently.

Who you are

1. Copywriting and SEO experience: At least 5 years of professional copywriting or content-writing experience, including at least 3 years creating SEO-focused content as an SEO copywriter, with published work and evidence of organic-traffic growth.

2. Keyword-cluster execution: You can turn a keyword cluster into a clear, well-researched, publish-ready page.

3. On-page SEO: You understand headings, metadata, internal linking, schema, search intent, and basic SERP analysis.

4. AI-assisted content workflows: You use AI to accelerate work while maintaining strong human standards for accuracy, voice, originality, and fact-checking.

5. Publishing ownership: You can maintain a consistent content cadence and make clean developer handoffs.

6. Near-native or native written and spoken English: You communicate naturally and clearly with U.S. or international audiences, both in writing and conversation. C2-level proficiency in written and spoken English is required.

7. Structured and autonomous: You enjoy creating processes, work independently, and can prioritize without constant direction.

8. Collaborative communication: You work effectively with the SEO & AEO Manager and WordPress Developer.

The details

1. Location: Remote, based in Argentina, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, or Mexico.

2. Reports to: SEO & AEO Manager.

3. Compensation: Competitive and benchmarked to the LATAM SEO and digital marketing manager market. The final range will be confirmed during intake and reviewed every six months.
