Position Summary

The Sr. Data Architect, Enterprise Data & Analytics is responsible for creating and maintaining a trusted source of business information across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership. This role owns the end-to-end reporting ecosystem by extracting, transforming, integrating, and analyzing data from Salesforce, Sage X3, AS400, and other enterprise systems to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate combines strong business acumen with technical expertise in data management, reporting, analytics, and system integration. They will serve as the primary owner of enterprise reporting and business intelligence, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Integration & Reporting

• Own the company's reporting and analytics ecosystem across Salesforce, Sage X3, AS400, and other business systems.
• Develop and maintain a unified enterprise data model that supports sales, operational, manufacturing, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Extract, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple business systems to create reliable reporting datasets.
• Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on business data structures, relationships, and reporting logic.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies between CRM, ERP, financial, and operational reporting environments.
• Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve the availability of business information.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, operational metrics, and financial reporting solutions using Tableau.
• Partner with leadership to identify key business drivers and create reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making.
• Translate business questions into meaningful data analysis and actionable insights.
• Monitor reporting accuracy and continuously improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness.

Salesforce & CRM Analytics

• Administer Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data structures to support sales execution and forecasting.
• Ensure CRM data supports accurate pipeline, bookings, revenue, customer, and market analytics.
• Improve data quality and reporting consistency across sales processes.
• Support integration of CRM data into enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.

Financial & Operational Reporting

• Partner closely with Finance to support revenue and bookings analysis, gross margin reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes, inventory analysis, and product line performance analysis
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual reporting requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend improvements to data architecture, business intelligence tools, and reporting workflows and reduce manual operations.
• Evaluate new technologies and analytics capabilities that improve organizational effectiveness.
• Train and support business users in leveraging available analytics and reporting tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, enterprise reporting, data engineering, or related roles.
• Strong SQL and database querying skills.
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from ERP systems.
• Experience building dashboards and analytical solutions using Tableau or similar BI platforms.
• Experience supporting sales, finance, and operational reporting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, order management, and financial data structures.
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
