What it is. Spark is a dedicated team of tenured Client Partners and Client Account Managers who step in to look after a colleague's clients and business while they're on a leave of absence. They safeguard relationships and revenue, keep the work moving, and hand back a healthy, thriving book when our teammate returns.

Pinterest's Spark program is a full-time staffing model purpose-built to ensure uninterrupted client service and consistent business performance during periods of extended employee leave, including parental and medical absences. Each engagement offers genuine ownership of high-value client relationships, hands-on expertise across Pinterest's full-funnel advertising solutions, and direct contribution to the North America Enterprise organization. Hires join Pinterest as regular, full-time employees, fully embedded within their teams and client portfolios from day one, with assignments typically scoped for approximately 6 months and subject to extension based on business needs.

As a Client Partner at Pinterest, you will serve as a strategic visionary, cultivating trusted relationships with top-tier clients through your deep expertise in full-funnel sales. By leveraging your nuanced understanding of client businesses, you will independently engage assigned customer accounts to promote Pinterest products effectively. Your primary responsibilities include meeting performance targets, developing new business, maintaining and expanding customer relationships, and resolving specific customer issues. By guiding clients’ efforts, you'll drive value for millions of Pinners seeking inspiration and action, forming strategic alliances both internally and externally. Success in this role depends on your ability to drive substantial revenue growth and spearhead a vision for long-term client success in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

• Retain and grow partner relationships, ultimately driving Pinterest revenue.
• Build strong relationships with clients, agencies, C-suite, and key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Demonstrate leadership and a deep understanding of client business goals and industry trends.
• Develop tailored media strategies to drive adoption of Pinterest ads.
• Position Pinterest as a key platform by highlighting ad performance and impact.
• Identify and communicate new growth opportunities to expand client partnerships.

 What we are looking for:

• Proven experience building long-term partnerships and successful negotiations.
• Performance based ad sales background (lower funnel experience), turning data into actionable next steps is preferred.
• Experience working with executive-level business and marketing leaders.
• Analytical thinker, skilled at turning data and trends into clear strategies for growth.
• Track record of meeting revenue goals and fostering ongoing partnership growth.
• Success working in fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performance environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, SaaS Sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• AI Enthusiast: Demonstrates a strong curiosity for and practical application of AI to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and elevate client communications, presentations, and recommendations. Uses AI thoughtfully across account strategy and sales motions to uncover insights, sharpen strategic narratives, and show up as a strong, trusted advisor while maintaining sound judgment and a high bar for quality. 

In-Office Requirement Statement:

• We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
• This role will need to travel for quarterly team on-sites and client engagements as needed.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
