It’s the way youth sports should be.  Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic and dedicated Baseball Sport Coordinator to lead our T-Ball and Coach Pitch programs (ages 3-6) and foster a love for the game. In this role, you will organize and oversee baseball activities, assist volunteer coaches, and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. From demonstrating fundamentals and assisting with drills to managing game-day logistics like field setup and scheduling, you will play an important role in delivering a safe, high-energy, and organized i9 Sports experience for all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes and their communities. Duties

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation on game day
• Setup/breakdown of equipment and fields
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Lead team practices focusing on fundamental techniques, strategy, and sportsmanship in the absence of a volunteer coach

Qualifications

• Baseball coaching and/or playing experience & knowledge
• Strong communication skills for effective customer (player and parent) interactions
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)

Positions available at locations in Chesapeake, Suffolk and Virginia Beach, VA. Chesapeake and Virginia Beach T-ball and coach pitch programs are held on Saturday mornings. Suffolk programs are held on Sunday afternoons.
