We are growing our clinical contractor network and seeking Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about improving patient communication, swallowing, and quality of life in the home setting.
Contract Position Overview
We are seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide skilled speech therapy services to home health patients. This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering competitive per-visit rates, flexible scheduling, and a rewarding caseload throughout Palm Beach County. As an independent contractor, you control your own availability and assignments.
Contractor Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations for home health patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication, dysphagia, voice, and cognitive-linguistic goals
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions in the patient's home environment
- Provide education and training to patients and family members on strategies and home programs
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as clinically indicated
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team including RNs, OTs, PTs, and physicians
- Maintain accurate and timely visit documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Contractor Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the State of Florida
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Minimum 1 year of home health or clinical therapy experience preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proof of TB test, required immunizations, and health clearance
- Must maintain professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
