Job Description
Position Summary
- The Specialty Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and support department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- The Specialty Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition.
- The Specialty Nurse possesses specialized knowledge, skills and training to provide care to patients with complex pathology and operates at a higher level with larger amounts of autonomy than a Staff Nurse in ECU Health's Specialty Clinics.
Minimum Requirements
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina.
- Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice.
- Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- American Heart Association ACLS may be required based on clinic.
- 3+ years directly related specialty experience is required
Pay Range
- Specialty Nurse annual rate range > $68806.40 - $100294.48
- Final compensation is determined at the offer stage
Other Information
- Location/Department: ECU Health Urology Clinic (outpatient) - Greenville, NC
- This position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- No nights, weekends, call or holidays
