Job Summary: 

The Graphic specialist will work, as part of a team, to produce, construct and install in-house produced signage and nametags for Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow Vt. Our ideal candidate will have experience in design, fabrication, and installation of various sign types and styles. This position work alongside the advanced sign maker and will be asked to fill in during the Advanced Sign maker’s absence.

Job Specifications: 

• Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $27.23/hr  
• Employment Type: Year Round  
• Shift Type: Part Time hours available 
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age  
• Housing Availability: No 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for fulfilling sign requests, sign manufacturing projects, sign installation assignments and sign repair and replacement assignments.
• Follows set approval process for sign requests and logging of signs ordered and completed.
• Operation of Mac Adobe software and Mac and PC supported sign / nametag machines.
• Assist the Advanced Signmaker with the production of signs, graphics, banners, stickers, and nametags as requested by various departments.
• Maintain neat, organized, clean sign shop for safe operation and efficient production and delivery of requested items.
• Receive training and work direction from senior staff.
• Adheres to all OSHA and other safety related requirements.
• Participates in the cleaning of the facility and is a supportive team player with that department in regards to joint projects and the overall work environment.
• Works in accordance with Vail Resorts policies and corporate values.

Job Requirements: 

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in mid-high volume sign production facility preferred, but not required,
• Previous experience in the following software programs: MS office, Omega Composer, Illustrator, Photo Shop, Adobe Illustrator preferred, but not required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Graphic Arts, Art, Design or related field (preferred)
• Comfortable working in the Macintosh environment.
• Strong organization skills and multi-tasking required.
• This is a hybrid remote position requiring flexibility of schedule.

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $27.23/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
