Spa Nail Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Provide professional manicure and pedicure services. 

• Perform nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, gel services, and other nail treatments as qualified and licensed. 

• Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with state regulations and spa standards. 

• Properly sanitize and disinfect tools and equipment between guests. 

• Maintain knowledge of current nail trends, techniques, products, and services. 

• Provide a warm, professional, and personalized guest experience. 

• Maintain accurate service records and follow spa policies and procedures. 

• Recommend appropriate retail products and additional services when beneficial to the guest. 

• Work collaboratively with other spa and salon team members. 

• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times. 

• Assist with maintaining overall cleanliness and presentation of the nail and spa areas. 

Qualifications 

• Current state Nail Technician/Cosmetology license in good standing. 

• Previous experience in a salon, spa, resort, or similar environment preferred. 

• Strong knowledge of sanitation and infection-control procedures. 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

• Professional appearance and demeanor. 

• Ability to work independently while being a team player. 

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. 

• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. 

Preferred Skills 

• Gel polish and advanced nail services. 

• Nail art and current nail trends. 

• Experience working in a luxury spa or resort environment. 

• Retail and service recommendations. 

• Ability to create a calm, relaxing guest experience. 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods. 

• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. 
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed. 
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
