Sonographer - PRN

Job Details: Job Location: Mary Rutan Hospital - Bellefontaine, OH, Position Type: PRN, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Varied, Job Summary - 

Performs 3D and 4D ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of pregnancy. Is responsible for daily operations of ultrasound equipment, report of equipment failure, and quality assurance. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification is required.

Regulatory Requirements

Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT Sonography is required.
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

Basic computer skills is required.
Experience with EMR system preferably Meditech is required.
