ABOUT THE TEAM 

The Integrated Front Office organization brings together the products and capabilities that support the prospect and resident journey across Realpage. Our teams build and operate solutions spanning Leasing, CRM, Screening, Marketing, and Integrations...with many initiatives crossing traditional product and system boundaries.

We are looking for a strong Solution Architect who can see beyond a single application or technology stack. You will help teams understand how systems fit together, identify opportunities for reuse and simplification, and ensure solutions align with our broader architectural direction while still meeting the practical needs of delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

You will serve as the technical architecture leader for complex, cross-product solutions...translating business outcomes and product requirements into resilient technical designs and guiding teams from concept through production.

You’ll partner deeply with product and engineering teams to define solution architecture, evaluate technical approaches, identify dependencies and risks, and make informed tradeoffs between speed, scalability, maintainability, security, and long-term platform health.

Our environment spans multiple technologies and architectural patterns, including microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, message queues, relational and NoSQL data stores, and shared RealPage platform capabilities. You will help teams select and apply the right patterns rather than forcing solutions into a single technology stack.

You’ll also help raise architectural maturity across Integrated Front Office by documenting key architectural decisions, establishing reusable patterns, reducing unnecessary complexity, and ensuring teams understand how their solutions fit into the broader ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand business needs, constraints, and integration points. 
• Translate requirements into clear architectural designs, diagrams, and implementation roadmaps. 
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are built according to architectural intent. 
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and patterns that improve performance, reliability, and scalability. 
• Provide technical leadership during development, including codelevel guidance when needed. 
• Communicate architectural decisions and tradeoffs to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural standards, best practices, and governance. 

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. 
• Clear communicator: ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly. 
• Software engineering depth in TypeScript/Node/React, plus CI/CD and automated testing patterns. 
• Cloud Architecture: deep familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Bonus Knowledge/Skills 
• RealPage ecosystem familiarity (e.g., UDMS/UDM, Resident Identity/CIDP, OneSite, ActiveBuilding) or prior experience integrating with large SaaS platforms. 
• Event streaming (e.g., Kafka) and advanced messaging patterns (DLQs, compaction, exactlyonce semantics). 
• Cloud architecture depth (AWS/Azure/GCP) including VPC design, private networking, managed messaging/databases, and IaC. 
• Compliance/regulatory experience (SOC 2, PCI, GDPR/CCPA) and security hardening at the platform and service levels.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

Pay Range

USD $142,200.00 - USD $242,000.00 /Yr.
